Lumen Civitatis Achieves Tax Exempt Status

Merely seven weeks after filing its application with the Internal Revenue Service, Lumen Civitatis received its determination letter approving the new organization for tax exemption.

The designation gives Lumen Civitatis the ability to solicit donations from individuals while providing them with opportunities to offset personal tax.

The news could not be more perfectly timed as Lumen Civitatis is amidst a large fundraise for its sponsorship of the Magnificat Day of Joy, which will take place in downtown Memphis on November 1, 2014.
